How the treatment works
Microneedling creates many tiny, controlled skin channels that prompt the body’s normal surface-repair responses. When applied to an additional area such as the neck, chest, hands or a scar, the process is focused and limited to the chosen zone, with the practitioner monitoring skin reaction and surface condition throughout the treatment.
Adding a separate treatment area is planned in advance so your provider can adjust technique, coverage and aftercare for that zone. Expect targeted attention to the added area only; this means slightly different pass patterns and topical products after the session compared with facial-only procedures.
What to expect locally
At our Wexford location along the Perry Highway corridor, appointments are scheduled to suit commuters and families — easy to fit before or after I-79 travel or school drop-off windows. Many local clients prefer cooler months because lower sun exposure fits post-treatment care and helps scheduling around outdoor activities.
Seasonality matters: the busiest months are Jan, Oct and Nov, which aligns with clients choosing cooler weather to reduce sun exposure during healing. Your provider will review how local four-season climate and upcoming plans could affect timing and advise on ideal scheduling.
Booking, timing, and price
This add-on is scheduled as part of your microneedling visit. Price: $0. Duration: 15 minutes. The additional area appointment is brief and intended to be incorporated into the main treatment slot, making it convenient for clients managing work commutes or family schedules in and around Wexford.
Before adding an area, your technician will review the targeted zone, any prior procedures, and relevant history so you can decide if the add-on is appropriate. They will explain recommended aftercare specific to that area and how it may affect follow-up scheduling.
