Get answers to common questions about Lash Tint | Upper or Lower Lashes.
Tint typically lasts up to four weeks, varying with lash growth cycle, skin oils, and sun exposure. Avoid oil-based removers and regular swimming to extend results; most clients return every three to four weeks for touch-ups.
Yes when performed by trained technicians using professional-grade dyes, but we recommend a patch test 24–48 hours prior for sensitive clients. Notify your technician about allergies, recent eye procedures, or skin conditions before treatment.
Yes — we can tint upper and lower lashes in the same session if your natural lashes are healthy. The combined treatment still takes about twenty minutes. Your technician will assess lash condition and choose appropriate dye strength for both sets.
We do not recommend tinting over glued eyelash extensions because dye and application can compromise adhesive and extension integrity. Tint natural lashes before applying extensions, or consult your technician for safe alternatives and timing based on your extension appointment.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes and remove contact lenses if possible. Avoid waterproof mascaras, lash serums, or oil-based products for 24–48 hours before your visit. Inform us of allergies or recent eye treatments.
Avoid water, steam, and heavy sweating for the first 24 hours to allow dye to set. Use gentle, oil-free cleansers and avoid oil-based makeup removers. Schedule re-tints every three to four weeks to maintain color and even coverage.
